L.T.T.E Intelligence leader Pottu Amman has arrested in Konghong

During the final war in Srilanka in 2009, the government or army did not give  any official statement about Pottu Amman. At the end, the reports released he had escaped. According to lankann.com, Pottu amman was arrested When he ready to go for meeting his family in Canada and as soon as he was sent to Srilanka by a  special airline.

The Story behind

The death of LTTE leader Vellupillai Pirabakaran had already created uproar across the world, But it turned into a stunned silence when his Intelligence Chief Sanmuganathan Sivasangar alias Pottu ammann a.k.a Pottu went missing.

While Vellupillai was shot dead on the banks of Nandikkadal lagoon on May 19^th,pottu amman was said to have killed while crossing the river in the early hours on May 18^th.Howeever no any evidence to prove his death. Several theories were behind his disappearance. Even, Many tigers had also confirmed his death, but without evidence.

This unconfirmed news about Pottu amman has raised a question in every Tamils mind.

Construction of Buddhist temple in Tamil’s area.

         The Buddhist temple is being constructed secretly on private land in Mullaitivu.

The village people said that The Buddhist temples are being constructed secretly on private land and the land belongs to General hospital in Kokillai village in Mullaitivu district. According to the information of that area people, in that particular place one of the new Buddha statues is established on Wednesday and put foundation for building a new Buddhist temple.

The general hospital did not opened even it is constructed one and half an year earlier and the hospital received enough fund to build fence round,it has not been set yet. The people accused that provincial ministry of Health continues to sloth.

Already they started the construction work, expropriating the private land and hospital land and the land owner put the case in court for calling the release of his land.

When the case is in pending state, the construction work have started again in that particular area- the area people allege. 

In recent years, the constructions of Buddhist temple in the Tamils living areas have being increased in number.The government are seriously work to bring whole Srilanka as Buddhist country. These construction works are also the part of the activity to reach their purpose.

Sarath Fonseka is ready to witness for international investigation.

International investigation against Srilankan government on the human rights violation will be held in near future.” If the request is issued to witness I am ready to accept the requisition”- former military Commander Sarath Fonseka said when he came to Colombo high court for a case for inquiry. 

Chairing the armed forces was involved in war according to the rules of international law and I did not order to shoot the people those with the hoist the white flag.

I will not hesitate to confront the enquiry. I am ready to prove that Srilankan forces were not involved in war crimes.

Further he said “I cannot accept the statement of government that Srilanka will not be allowed to enter the international Investigation team.

He questioned “why should government hesitant to face international investigation” and he said the persons, those involved in the criminal activities show reluctance. 

The government already announced, the persons who witness during the investigation should be ready to face the appropriate response then. Minister Heheliya Rampukvell also proposed the same idea recently.

“However, the forces were not involve in any of the criminal activities which I can ready to prove  in any  of the investigation”-  former commander Sarath Fonseka said.

No one can slave Tamils. “Tamil Elam is only one solution” – Lee Kuan yew

Lee Kuan Yew, who called as “Sitpi”in Singapore
has urged that the only one solution for Srilankan ethnic problem is “Tamil Eellam”.

Professor Thomas Gordon has written a book of “Conversation with Lee Kuan Yew” in 2010.In this book He has recorded his statements. When he asked regard the Srilankan ethnic problem to Lee Kuan yew he said as follows;

Not only Sinhalese but the Tamils also have been living from the ancient period in Srilanka. Even though, there is less possibility for both Tamils and Sinhalese to live there peacefully and there should not be peace until Srilanka is as one nation.

Srilankan president Mahinda Rajapaksa says “complete elimination of LTTE is the solution for ethnic conflict in Srilanka and he expects that all should accept it, but no one can slave Tamils. Tamil never get scared and get back for anything. Further, winning the Tamil’s mind is such a hard work for Srilankan government. 

Sinhalese are continually engaged in violence against Tamils. We can obviously see an outright ethnic cleansing. However, Tamils are never been as slaves. They are not continually bound for them. In this context, we cannot be readily predicted about another armed struggle.

However, “the only solution for this problem is giving separate nation for Tamils. Then only the both ethnics can get decent living condition” Lee Kuan yew said in 2010.
